PRIVACY POLICY
Effective October 13, 2026
Who we are
Haus of Web LLC (“Haus of Web”, “we”, “us”) designs, builds and operates websites and web applications for small businesses. This policy covers hausofweb.com and the applications we build and operate for our clients, such as booking and scheduling apps, when they link to this policy.
This website
hausofweb.com does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you.
Information our apps collect
- Account information. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from the sign-in method you choose, such as Google.
- Information you enter. For example, booking details, contact details and notes you add in the app.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
Google user data
Some of our apps let a business owner connect a Google Calendar so the app can offer only open times and add booked sessions to their calendar. When you connect, the app asks for these Google permissions:
- See the list of your calendars (calendar.calendarlist.readonly), so you can choose which calendars the app checks for conflicts and which one it writes to.
- See when you are free or busy (calendar.freebusy) and view and edit events (calendar.events), so the app can avoid times you are already busy and add, update or remove the sessions booked through it.
What the app stores:
- The names and colors of the calendars you choose.
- For events on those calendars, only their start and end times and Google’s event ID, so the app knows when you are busy. It does not store event titles, descriptions, locations or attendees.
- The events the app itself creates for booked sessions, titled with the service and the client’s name, and including the session location.
Your Google access tokens are held by our authentication provider, Clerk, not in our database. We use Google user data only to provide the scheduling features described above. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI or machine learning models, and no person at Haus of Web reads it, except with your permission, to investigate a problem or security issue, or where the law requires.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we share information
We share information only with the service providers that run our apps on our behalf, such as authentication (Clerk), payments (Stripe), email delivery, hosting and database providers, and only as needed for them to do so. Within an app, the business you book with sees the information you give it. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as the account it belongs to is active, or as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. Disconnecting Google Calendar in the app deletes the stored calendar names and busy times right away. You can also remove the app’s access at any time from your Google Account permissions. To have your account or other data deleted, email kenton@hausofweb.com.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls, and providers that maintain industry-standard security practices. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as the law requires.
Children
Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
